Project Synopsis
Electron Microprobe Analysis (EMPA) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopty
(FTIR) were combined with expert forensic geochemistry, in-house, to promote
favorable settlement of a multi-million dollar construction litigation.

Speciation analysis was combined with an understanding of complex adsorption
mechanisms at a CERCLA site to demonstrate that contaminants were more
stable and posed less risk than previously believed, thereby avoiding transportation
of large volumes of contaminated soil to a hazardous waste facility.
Advanced Technology
Science and technology go hand-in-hand. That’s why advanced technical services are an integral part of GEOMEGA’s professional consulting portfolio. We leverage our scientific knowledge by using a wealth of commercial and proprietary software that can be tailored to individual client needs
Visual Communication Support
Even the best science can be meaningless if it can’t be communicated properly. That’s why all of our projects are supported in-house by a talented group of artists, designers, and editors specializing in areas such graphic design, illustration, animation, and technical editing. We provide the highest quality in visual communication to ensure our solution and your project succeeds.

Resolution of complex environmental, permitting, and litigation issues often depends on the gathering and expert analysis of key scientific data. Whether accurately applying standard analytical methods, or designing unique solutions in the laboratory and field, our seasoned staff solve a variety of special client needs in environmental and forensic geochemistry. These solutions often lead to more equitable allocation of costs in environmental litigation, more efficient permitting for mining clients, and reduced costs for remediation and regulatory compliance.

GEOMEGA performs assessments associated with soil and wetland cleanups, post-closure pit lake water quality, tailings geochemistry, groundwater modeling, and other activities that support permitting for both domestic and international industries.

With an extensive safety program, GEOMEGA hasn't had any lost time accidents (LTAs) in the laboratoryfield or field our entire company history.
