Andy Davis, Ph.D.
Principal Investigator (PI),  President, Geomega Inc.

Dr. Davis has solved environmental problems for industrial clients for over 25 years, primarily at RCRA and CERCLA sites. As a member of the faculty of the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, Dr. Davis taught The Fate and Transport of Organic Compounds in the Environment. He has been the Principal Investigator (PI) for NEPA-related mining projects, many in north-east Nevada and has routinely interacted with NDEP, NDWR, the US EPA and BLM. He has managed projects at environmental sites in the US and abroad, e.g., refinery and oil field releases (5), landfills (8), CVOC sites (12), chemical manufacturing and formulation facilities (>25), NRDA (3), and Superfund sites (>15). Among his published body of work (80 papers in the peer-reviewed scientific literature) are contributions to mining geochemistry (>30), human and ecological risk (>10), technical cost allocation (>10), natural attenuation of groundwater contaminants (8), optimization of soil remediation volumes (3) and allocation (8). He has spent >70 days in deposition and testified in court ten times.
Married with four children, Dr. Davis has played soccer for >50 years and coached kids soccer and basketball for 18 years.
