Senior Risk Assessor

Ms. Howe is a senior risk assessment specialist with 30 years of experience in environmental consulting. She has prepared human health and ecological risk assessments for private, state, and federal clients throughout the nation. Ms. Howe has authored or participated in the development of more than 100 risk assessments for a wide range of facilities, including refineries and petroleum storage terminals, smelter sites, medical and military incinerators, pesticide production facilities, power plants, burn pits, mining sites, landfills, dry-cleaning sites, gas stations,  wood-treating facilities, and nuclear weapons production facilities.  She has extensive experience with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); voluntary action programs; underground storage tank sites; and other types of regulatory environments. Ms. Howe also is experienced in National Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) projects.
